This hip and back extension can be modified to fit people of all fitness levels. There is a traditional machine that accomplishes this movement, but isn't as comfortable to move on. I find using a little brain power to create exercises for weak spinal patterns is where we excel at Holistic Wellness Network. This particular movement is the complete opposite position of sitting. Hence why people who have desk jobs find it extremely difficult to perform their first few times. We always promote isolation then integration of movement in order to properly facilitate muscle function.
