Have you ever seen a depiction of a ship out to sea being powered by slave rowers getting whipped to row faster and harder? This is similar to what coffee does to the average tired, adrenal fatigued or thyroid fatigued individual.  The coffee keeps pushing you to produce more stress hormones to keep your rowers going, until your rowers just end up dying or breaking from over use.  What your body is really craving is rest!

There are 6 Foundational Principals of Optimal Health that we promote at Holistic Wellness Network:

  1. Breathing
  2. Thoughts
  3. Exercise
  4. Nutrition
  5. Water
  6. Sleep

If you can first identify where the problem is, you now have a road map of what needs to be done.  Are you getting to bed too late? Well, do the opposite!
