Making time for health, fitness, and stress management
If you don't make time for yourself, what is the quality of the time you are spending with others?
This topic comes up quite a bit in our business. I always use the example of "placing oxygen masks on yourself before helping others". The reason the airlines tell you to do this is because if you are not safe and secure, how can you help someone else be safe and secure?
"If it's important to you, you'll find a way. If it is not, you will find an excuse".
1. Identify your goal.
2. Take steps towards that goal by eliminating distractions from that goal. "I don't have time..." - Cut time from non productive activities to give you time for your goal. The best place to cut time from is watching TV. This is by far the biggest waste of time since there are nothing but drug commercials on anyway.
3. Repeat each day until more of your life is spent towards your health and less on dis-ease.
