What is Corrective Exercise Personal Training?
A simple meaning of corrective exercise is to balance ones body in order to keep equal proportions between flexion, extension, and/or rotation of all joints. All joints affect every other joint and motor pattern in the body. We will show you how to test each joint individually, and synergistically with every other joint through primal movement patterns.
Primal Movement is Squatting, pulling, pushing, and Rotating. All movements are based off of these 4 motion patterns.
Why we were designed to squat?
1.Makes elimination faster, easier and more complete. This helps prevent "fecal stagnation," a prime factor in colon cancer, appendicitis and Inflammatory bowel disease.
2. Protects the nerves that control the prostate, bladder and uterus from becoming stretched and damaged.
3. Securely seals the ileocecal valve, between the colon and the small intestine. In the conventional sitting position, this valve is unsupported and often leaks during evacuation, contaminating the small intestines.
4. Relaxes the puborectalis muscle which normally chokes the rectum in order to maintain continence.
5. Uses the thighs to support the colon and prevent straining. Chronic straining on the toilet can cause hernias, diverticulosis, and Pelvic organ prolapse.
6. A highly effective, non-invasive treatment for hemorrhoids, as shown by published clinical research.
7. For pregnant women, squatting avoids pressure on the uterus when using the toilet. Daily squatting helps prepare the mother-to-be for a more natural delivery.

Buyer Beware, Certified doesn't always mean Qualified.
There are over 1000 personal trainer certifications on the market today and continue to multiply rapidly. Fitness certifications have become big business to the tune of millions of dollars per year. Many pseudo-fitness organizations are trying to carve out a piece of the money pie by offering personal training certifications. Many of the certifications are literally worthless. These certifications are normally offered as advertisements inside most of the popular fitness magazines on the market today. Some personal trainer certifications are also offered on bulletin boards in gyms and health clubs all across the United States. The intent is to lure unsuspecting people into spending their hard earned money on a weekend personal trainer certification course that promises to teach candidates the anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and program design all in one weekend. The best these pseudo-certifications can do is literally spoon-feed the answers to the candidates in order to ensure a high pass rate. Course material is usually advanced to the students prior to the certification weekend but there is never sufficient time to ensure that the candidates fully understand the course material. The candidates are therefore not capable of designing an exercise program that is both safe and appropriate.
